Photograph printed on Canson Rag Photographique, 2021
13 x 20 in.

Limited edition photographs documenting my mini portal prototype sculptures in various landscapes. Placing these works in conversation with Earth’s landscapes feels like a coming home, coalescence of natural and feminine elements, and a reminder to slow down and archive essence.

My conservation recommendation for photography is to frame artwork in museum glass, or at least glass that provides UV protection - especially if artwork is displayed somewhere where it is exposed to sun rays for long periods of time. The idea humidity to store artwork is 40-50% with a temperature between 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit (21-24 degrees Celsius). Severe climates can cause paper warping, yellowing of paper, and mold growth. If artwork is kept unframed in storage it should be rolled, or completely flat, but never folded.
